Raising Awareness: The Global Orphan Project

My buddy Michael Sugihara is raising support and awareness for the Global Orphan Project this summer. This organization works through local churches to provide sustainable care for orphans. Definitely check his blog and the Global Orphan Project out and consider how you can help! 

Falling Forward

So, this is the first blog post! I’m not a blogger at all, but I figured that this would be a good way for me to stay on top of what this summer has in store for me and to keep people updated and involved in this adventure.  Let’s see, I am pretty stoked, excited, and thrilled – here’s the story:

Background:

One of my good friends, Barrett Keene, is a current PhD student at Cornell University and starting this past January, he has been walking across the country – from Miami (FL) to San Francisco (CA). I will be joining him for the summer!
